Book a tour of Brixham fishmarket 

Its an early start  (0620hrs) but well worth it if you are interested in learning more about  the Fishing industry of Brixham. Advance Booking is essential ( its very popular!). A fisherman will give you a tour of the market and tell you about the fish and fishing, answering any questions you may have.  Ending in a fish based breakfast at Rockfish. Proceeds go to the Fishermans charity.

Take a rib ride 

From Brixham harbour around the bay. Interesting and exhilarating, a great way to see the spectacular coastline

Learn to sail a dingy

Dartmoor 

Enjoy walks through wild, beautiful Dartmoor national park.  Spot  the Dartmoor ponies and  visit the quaint towns and  villages

 

River Dart / Sea kayaking 

Hire a paddle board / canoe or kayak or take a guided tour to explore the River Dart or the sea !   Trip advisor / google for most up to date information on providers 

 

Catch some live music art the local pubs 

The Blue Anchor  is one of many locals that run a programme of live bands

Go wildlife spotting or fishing

Dartmouth 

A beautiful town situated on the bank of the river Dart with a rich maritime history. The naval college is imposing on the skyline and many yachts are moored in the harbour. 

Enjoy a wander in the many art galleries. Many fine dining opportunities and several festivals throughout the year. 

 

Take a ferry 

To Torquay / Paignton / Teignmouth. Get the ferry to Torquay and walk back along the coastal path

Visit a beach

From breakwater beach to Churston Cove, St Marys Bay, Elberry Cove, Broadsands and Goodrington, there are plenty to choose from !

Hire a SUP or kayak from Broadsands beach, a great way to enjoy the beautiful coastline 

Take a tour of Battery Gardens 

A small but fascinating museum and tour of the underground tunnels relating to WW2 are offered by the volunteers. 11am-2pm (no booking required) on the following dates;
